Finished Teaser Trailer

  1. Fantastic work! I love the "jump" moments which are both visual and soundtracked - and the little girl is really scary. The music is appropriately chosen too, with really good contrasts between calm and frenetic.
    Great stuff!

  2. Well done! I really like this teaser trailer. Firstly I really like the various different clips you have filmed and how you have combined them by using the effects of fading to black to make this trailer. Secondly I think the editing of the trailer is very creative as it tells a story through out the whole thing which puts me on edge, so you have achieved in making me feel scared! The music links well with the trailer by building up into the main section which full of jump cuts. Mostly I like the ending the trailer how it focuses on the child face. I enjoyed it!

  3. The production and filming of the trailer are well worked and the best bit of the production for me is at the end when the little girl comes up to the door because the use of sound and the way the camera moves away gives me a scare. There is good use of transitions and sound effects which give the whole trailer a scary theme. Camer angles are also important and they use them well throughout. One of the best teaser trailers ive seen all year!

  4. Well executed camera work with a range of zoom tracking and stationary shots, good use rule of thirds during framing. I like the action match when the music drops and the creepy girl is reviled, I also think its very cleaver that in some shots the ghost is there but barley visible in the periphery of the shot.

  5. This teaser trailer has everything it needs too be too resemble a realistic trailer for film in this modern day. It has everything. A great pace of up and down, climax and resolition takes the viewer on a wild ride in a short amount of time. The soundtrack, clips, editing and everything else looks professional. A great teaser trailer which makes even the best look bad.

  6. This teaser trailor keeps you hooked on wanting to watch more, it's a trailor that seems to take on a journey. I like the use of the different music that you've used as it builds tension, especially when theres classical music as you're waiting for the action to speed up. This trailor gave me goose bumps as I was watching it. I like how you've used a kind of 'ghostly' glow around the text. The whole trailor looks exactly like one you'd expect to see on tv.

  7. I really like your teaser trailer! the pace works really well and the music contributes to this! the music is quite calm at the start, but invites you into a false sense of security, as we soon get to know the genre through the change in soundtrack, narrative and pace. you introduce the genre really well! This fits the conventions of films in a similar genre. its a really good piece of work well done! :)

your ancillary tasks have a consistent style and match your genre again, they look amazing and match the conventions. i especially like how you have used black and white for your magazine cover, it attracts the eye as its a contrast to the bright red also on the page!
